“InfoMat workshop in Korea:Electrochemical Energy Materials & Devices”于2021年5月28日在韩国成均馆大学成功举办。本次研讨会由2D elementary Redox Energy Storage (2DRES)承办。本次研讨会旨在加强韩国能源领域学者的交流,5位邀请嘉宾全程均以韩语进行交流。会议开始时,成均馆大学的Ho Seok Park教授作为会议发起人以及主持人,向大家详细介绍了Wiley的旗舰新刊-InfoMat,让韩国学者对InfoMat有更深入的了解。首尔国立大学Ho Won Jang教授介绍了结合过渡金属基催化剂的Si基水裂解光电极。蔚山国立科学技术研究所(UNIST)Dong-Hwa Seo教授介绍了通过第一性原理研究过量Li分布的和Li过量水平对锂电极材料中的氧化氧稳定性的影响。首尔国立大学Yun Jeong Hwang教授讨论了近期在二氧化碳还原反应中纳米催化剂形貌变化方向的工作。庆北大学Ji Hoon Lee教授介绍了围绕钯基电催化剂用于二氧化碳转化为CO/H2合成气的工作。


InfoMat workshop is a global academic event launched by the journal of InfoMat. Focusing on the frontiers research of information materials, the workshop invites outstanding scholars around the world to conduct half-day or one-day in-depth communications. Researchers can break the limit of space to keep up with the latest research progress by watching the live stream of InfoMat workshop.

“InfoMat workshop in Korea:Electrochemical Energy Materials & Devices” was successfully held in Sungkyunkwan University on 28th May 2021. This event is supported by center for 2D elementary Redox Energy Storage (2DRES). Aiming to strengthen communications among scholars in the field of energy research in South Korea, five invited speakers communicated in Korean throughout the workshop. As the convener and host of this event, Prof. Ho Seok Park from Sungkyunkwan University first introduced the new flagship journal of Wiley, InfoMat. Then, Prof. Ho Won Jang from Seoul National University presented his work on the Si-based water splitting photoelectrode conjugated with transition metal-based catalysts. Subsequently, Prof. Dong-Hwa Seo from Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) introduced the first-principles results on the distribution of excess Li and the effect of Li-excess level on the stability of oxidized oxygen in Li-excess cathode materials. The morphology changes of the nanocatalyst during CO2 reduction reaction was discussed by Prof. Yun Jeong Hwang from Seoul National University. At last, Prof. Ji Hoon Lee from Kyungpook National University introduced their recent researches on palladium (Pd)-based electrocatalysts for electrochemical conversion of CO2 into synthesis gas (Syngas, CO/H2).

This event was live-streamed to more than 900 scholars from all over the world through Koushare. “InfoMat workshop in South Korea” has contributed to the wide spread of InfoMat and enhancing communications among researchers in South Korea.

InfoMat embraces open-access publishing model with the article processing charges waived during the first three years (2019-2021). All submissions will be performed and processed using ScholarOne online submission system. Articles will undergo strict peer-review procedures with similar standards to Advanced Functional Materials and Small before published.
