Following her Habitation at the Max-Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, Magda Titirici joined Queen Mary University of London in 2013 and was promoted to Professor in 2014. She moved to Imperial College London in 2019 where she is currently a Chair in Sustainable Energy Materials. Research @titiricigroup focusses on the design and fundamental understanding of sustainable materials for applications in energy storage and conversion from batteries beyond Li-ion to electrocatalysis for clean fuels, chemicals and electricity. Her research has been recognised by several important awards including the Rosenhein Medal and Price from IOM in 2016 and the RSC Corday-Morgan Prize in 2018.  She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a RAEng Chair in Emerging Technologies. Magda is an associate editor for J. Mater. Chem. A and Materials Advances with RSC and in the editorial board of several prestigious journals from Wiley, IoP and Elsevier. She is an advocate for equality, inclusion and diversity in STEM.

Yang Shao-Horn is W.M. Keck Professor of Energy in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, and the Research Laboratory of Electronics at MIT. Her research is centered on using chemical physics to study kinetics, dynamics and transport in electrochemical processes towards zero-carbon energy, chemicals and medicine. Prof. Shao-Horn is a member of the National Academy of Engineering. She serves as Senior Editor for ACS Accounts of Materials Research, on the editorial board of RSC Energy and Environmental Science, and the advisory board of Advanced Energy Materials from Wiley.

Prof Lee Pooi See is currently the Professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Pooi See received her PhD degree from the National University of Singapore in 2002. She was awarded the 2002 Norman Hackermann Young Author Award by The Electrochemical Society, United States. Pooi See’s research focuses on hybrid nanomaterials for flexible and stretchable electronics, energy harvesting and storage, wearable technology, human-machine interface and functional materials for soft robotics. She was awarded the National Research Foundation Investigatorship in 2015 and the Nanyang Research Excellence Award in 2016. Her team won the TechConnect Innovation Award 2015 in Washington. In 2016, Prof Lee received the Nanyang Award for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Pooi See is recognized as the Highly Cited Researcher 2018, 2019 and 2020 by the Clarivate Analytics, Web of Science. In 2020, she is elected as the Fellow, National Academy of Inventors.
